In 2015, Yuwa will start a school for girls.
With exceptional teachers, a challenging and engaging curriculum, and low monthly fees, the Yuwa school will enable hard-working girls from low-income families to achieve academic excellence and become leaders in their communities.
In 2015 and 2016, our school will run out of Yuwa’ existing classrooms and support about 50 students.
By 2017, we want to have purchased land in Jharkhand and built a school campus with standards K through 12, with residential facilities for older students. This school will support about 600 girls.
Every donation makes a difference. 100% of private donations go directly to program costs, including teachers’ salaries, books, mid-day meals, uniforms, and education technology. Be part of a project that will empower the next generation of female leaders in India.
